Job summary

American Dining Creations is seeking a friendly Cashier in Chattanooga to deliver exceptional guest service and manage sales transactions. You will restock merchandise, maintain displays, and support dining services with catering and delivery as needed.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality and cultural engagement, with strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset. Weekly pay is offered along with various benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior cashier or retail experience in a cultural or hospitality environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, guest-centered environment.
• Basic math and computer skills; familiarity with POS systems.
• Creative eye for merchandising and presentation.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform light physical tasks related to stocking, display and catering setup, and sanitation duties.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide product information and recommendations.
• Operate the POS system to ring up transactions quickly and accurately, including cash, debit, credit, and mobile payments.
• Balance the POS system and reconcile cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Restock, merchandise, and maintain displays to keep an organized, visually appealing environment.
• Unpack, price, and stock new inventory shipments.
• Assist with inventory counts, sales reporting, and reorder recommendations for merchandise and supplies.
• Support the creation of themed and seasonal displays.
• Support dining team with preparation, catering, and delivery as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, displays, and all ADC work areas.
• Provide feedback to the operations team regarding customer preferences and sales trends.
• Ensure all policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed.
