Job summary

American Dining Creations is seeking a Sous Chef in Chattanooga, TN to support the Chef and Executive Chef with daily culinary services. You will work with the culinary staff to ensure recipes and safety standards are followed.

Responsibilities include assisting with food stations and catering events, supervising BOH staff, maintaining recipe standards and production records, and ensuring safe handling of ingredients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in culinary arts or hospitality preferred or culinary degree from an accredited association.
• Three years experience in a similar culinary leadership role (retail, hotels, business, or education dining preferred).
• Experience planning and managing employee schedules, hiring, and staff development.
• Strong time management skills, able to multitask in a time-sensitive, fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, catering, ordering and inventory systems.
• Knowledge of local and state food safety regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and bend daily.
