Job summary

M&K Truck Centers in Channahon, IL is seeking a Regular Full-Time Cashier to warmly greet customers, take payments, and help with account reconciliations.

As part of the essential duties you will answer the phone, transfer calls, record receipts into the ADP system, and ensure accurate cash handling and tax calculations.

Qualifications

• Ability to add and calculate tax.

• CDK and basic Accounting experience is a plus.

• Typing correspondence, letters and documents etc.
• Record receipt of parts and posts into the ADP system.
• Make correct changes for customers’ purchases.
• Process purchases using a credit card machine and verify checks upon receipt.
• Operate a cash a cash register or drawer with absolute accuracy and efficiency.
• Cashier/ handling of receivables and sending to the corporate center for proper processing.
• Able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
