Job Responsibilities:

1. Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
2. Understand and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders and offers according to company policy.
3. Adhere to cash handling limits and work honestly to control loss.
4. Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
5. Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
6. Stay current with advertisements and promotions.
7. Comply with food safety regulations.
8. Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
9. Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
10. Create a welcoming environment for customers and assist with product questions.
11. Follow all applicable laws and company policies.
12. Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally.
13. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
14. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
15. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
16. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
