Responsibilities

As a Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market, you are the face of the company, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. You will handle cash, credit/debit payments, and provide information and resolve complaints. Your duties include assisting with stocking shelves, facing, dusting, maintaining knowledge of weekly ad items, guiding customers within the store, and supporting store events. You must keep checkout areas clean and orderly and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Have an outgoing, friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, scanners, and calculators.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Capable of performing repetitive activities, multitasking, and staying organized.
• Must lift/carry items up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. force.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency with numbers, and cash handling skills.

Pay Range

The pay range is $17.30 - $21.75/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
