Job summary

Wingstop is seeking a friendly Cashier to deliver fast service and accurate order taking, both in person and by phone. You’ll work with the team to ensure timely guest orders, upsell menu items, and maintain a clean FOH.

Strong cash handling and knowledge of promotions help you guide guests to excellent Wingstop experiences. Ideal candidates are reliable, able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, and committed to safe food handling and professional appearance per Wingstop

Qualifications

• Experience using a computer and register (POS) system preferred.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Available to work flexible hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, late nights and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Wingstop.
• Greet all guests in a friendly and welcoming manner whether by phone or in person.
• Place orders for guests in-person and over the phone; upsell and maintain knowledge of menu and sauce descriptions, along with new items and promotions.
• Be knowledgeable on menu offerings, sauce descriptions and promotions to better assist guests in making order recommendations and answering questions.
• Monitor that all orders are ready within quoted guest order readiness times.
• Verify the accuracy and presentation of all guest orders before delivery to guests to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
• Strong cash handling skills to accurately process cash, credit card and gift card transactions and balance of register at end of shift.
• Assist in maintaining a clean workplace; keep Front of House (FOH) clean and stocked; including restrooms.
• Restocking products during periods of downtime or as directed.
• Practice safe food handling procedures by following all safety and sanitation guidelines; promote safety in the workplace.
• Maintain a professional and presentable appearance according to the company's Uniform Standards
• Receive and handle complaints from guests and guide the manager on duty if a problem requires escalation.
• Leave guests with a long-lasting and positive impression of their WINGSTOP experience.
