JOB PURPOSE:

The primary purpose of this position is to positively represent the Buffalo Wild Wings Brand as a first point of contact for Guests. This role is responsible for managing takeout orders, accurately entering orders into the Point of Sale System, and collecting payments.

Cashier/Greeter: Make a great first impression with each Guest. Greet hungry sports fans like they are part of our team. You need to be energetic, friendly, and genuinely interested in what brings Guests through our doors. This position involves multitasking: finding the right spot for a Little League team celebrating their win, managing takeout orders, and assisting Guests with payments. You will be "on deck" to help as needed and should invite guests to return.

JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a part-time position, averaging 29 hours or less per week. After a 12-month review, if you average 30 or more hours per week, you will be eligible for company medical benefits. Full-time hours are typically 36 to 40 hours per week.

• Provide a friendly welcome to Guests and ensure timely seating.
• Participate in the Company’s Mystery Shop, GEM, and BARS programs, following standards such as "Must ID anyone who looks under 40" to verify age for alcohol service.
• Follow proper phone etiquette and answer calls according to Buffalo Wild Wings standards.
• Bus tables, deliver food, follow FIFO guidelines, and complete daily tasks.
• Respond to customer complaints and involve a manager when necessary.
• Engage with guests to create a personalized experience.
• Take payments, manage the cash drawer, and process credit card transactions.
• Use menu knowledge to make suggestions and upsell.
• Accurately enter takeout orders into the POS system.
• Bag and manage takeout orders, checking for accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and safe cashier area, practicing proper sanitation.
• Thank guests as they leave, solicit feedback, and encourage future visits.
• Assist with prep, portioning, expo, and food running as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
