Job summary

Homeland is seeking a passionate Food Clerk-Cashier for a part-time, hourly position in Blackwell, OK. You will greet customers, ring purchases, and ensure accurate transactions using a cash register, scanner, and scale.

You will bag items, assist with coupons and vouchers, and help maintain a clean front-end area. The role requires basic math, a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Basic Mathematics for transactions and change-making.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Prior experience in customer service or retail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and ring out customers politely.
• Process purchases quickly and accurately with cash register, scanner, and scale.
• Keep register area clean and organized and reset for the next customer.
• Handle coupons, WIC and other vouchers, checks, credit and debit cards correctly.
• Ensure safety by following store rules and reporting hazards to a supervisor.
• Bag customer purchases quickly and correctly.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as needed by supervisors.
