A leading retail company seeks Cashiers to provide exceptional customer service and assist in transactions. The role includes monitoring the Self-Checkout area and supporting new cashiers. A Head Cashier position is available for candidates with over a year of experience, focusing on leadership and training.
Cashiers play a critical customer service role by providing customers with fast, friendly, accurate, and safe service. They process checkout and/or return transactions, monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area, and proactively seek product knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities. They follow all policies to minimize shrinkage.
A Head Cashier supports cashiers by expediting price checks, approving transactions and markdowns, and handling escalations. They also assist in supervising, coaching, and training Front End Associates, including new Cashiers, using all available tools for development. The preferred qualification for a Head Cashier is 1+ years of cashier experience.
