Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you will be the face of Sprouts Farmers Market, processing customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently, ensuring complete customer satisfaction through friendly service. Your duties include handling cash, credit/debit payments, and providing product information. You will also assist with stocking shelves, facing, dusting, and maintaining a clean checkout area. Knowledge of weekly ads, store events, and effective communication with team members are essential. All related duties as assigned are part of your role.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Possess an outgoing, friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, scanners, and calculators.
• Dependability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to perform repetitive activities, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force, for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency in cash handling, and basic math skills.
