Position Summary:
Our Tellers handle cash deposits and change fulfillment with a focus on accuracy and efficient operations. This role is based at our cash processing center in the Kent area, emphasizing task completion and operational excellence.
Reports To:
The Cash Vault Teller will report to the Vault Supervisor or Operations Manager or Branch Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties include, but not limited to:
- Safely operates cash processing equipment and keeps equipment in good working order.
- Notifies the manager of delays, issues, unusual circumstances, and other important information in a timely manner.
- Accurately and efficiently counts and logs clients' deposits into our teller software system.
- Uses handheld electronic devices to scan and track deposits.
- Prepares currency/coin orders.
- Processes marijuana related business currency and coin orders.
- Communicates any issues, concerns, or problems to their direct report immediately.
- Ensures accurate count and tracking of all vault assets.
- Fewer than four (4) mistakes a month.
- Discrepancies/Offages cannot be off by more than +/- $100 per quarter.
- Ensures the safety and integrity of all negotiables, confidential records, and vault codes.
- Maintains a clean and orderly teller processing area.
- Communicates positively in a team-oriented work environment both in person and by phone.
- Eligible for travel opportunities.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures.
- Adheres to dual verification requirements and complies with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- One or more years of teller, cash vault teller, cage cashier or equivalent cash handling experience is preferred.
- Excellent math skills and accuracy are required.
- Must be able to use a computer and other cash processing equipment.
- Trustworthiness and the ability to act with integrity are of utmost importance.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting 30 pounds and sometimes up to 50 pounds, as needed
- Sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one workstation to another
- Pushing or pulling
- Reaching overhead, and at or below shoulder level
- Use of keyboard and mouse
- Repeating motions, which includes the wrist, hands, and or fingers
- Stoop, crouch, or kneel
- Near visual acuity
- Use of stairs
- Communicating with others to exchange information
