Job summary

Hayden Industrial, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, seeks a Cash Accountant to manage daily cash activities, reconciliations, and forecasting. You will work with Accounting, Shared Services, Purchasing, Sales, and banking partners to optimize cash flow and maintain internal controls.

This role requires 3–5 years in cash or treasury accounting, a U.S. GAAP background, and strong Excel/ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience with emphasis in cash accounting, treasury accounting, or general ledger accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (U.S. GAAP).
• Experience performing bank reconciliations and cash management activities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash balances and prepare daily cash position reports.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Record and reconcile cash-related journal entries per U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Process and monitor payments (wire, ACH) with appropriate controls and approvals.
• Prepare short-term cash forecasts and assist with liquidity planning.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable for cash application and with Accounts Payable for vendor payments.
• Maintain banking records and treasury-related files.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining internal controls over cash receipts and disbursements.
• Support month-end and year-end close related to cash accounts.
• Assist with audits by providing requested documentation.
