Gold Rush Gaming is seeking a detail-oriented Count Room Clerk to join our team in Hoffman Estates, IL. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with cash handling in fast-paced environments, and strong math and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior cash-handling experience in a high-volume environment preferred.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, secure, and confidential environment.
• Must pass a background check and obtain any required state gaming licenses.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Work is performed in a secure, surveillance-monitored environment.
• Some weekend and holiday work is required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately count and reconcile currency from VGTs and other revenue sources.
• Maintain detailed records of count room transactions.
• Operate cash-counting machines and ensure proper handling.
• Verify accuracy of cash against system reports.
• Safeguard assets and ensure secure currency transportation.
• Follow company policies, state regulations, and compliance standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the count room.
• Report discrepancies or suspected fraud to management.
• Support auditing and assist with reviews.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
