Job summary

Cornerstone Servicing, a division of Cornerstone Capital Bank, is hiring a Cash Research Assistant to ensure cash research items are completed timely and corrections are processed accurately. This onsite role in Englewood, CO offers $20–28/hr.

Responsibilities include monitoring tasks, researching payment issues, balancing systems daily, posting payments, and supporting other units to improve customer experience.

Qualifications

• Some College/associate degree preferred, High School graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 2–5 years of experience working in a Mortgage Servicing is required.
• Previous bankruptcy experience preferred
• MSP Experience is preferred
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while still being detailed and results oriented
• Effective verbal, and written communicator
• Must be disciplined and well organized with attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a team environment
• Minimum 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, etc.) with a technical understanding of imaging software and systems

• Prepare daily system balancing to ensure accuracy and upscale any discrepancies to management
• Responsible for balancing the Cash Database daily to ensure items posted are deposited; also ensure items are escalated prior to being aged
• Post payments, payoffs, and liquidations
• Collaborate with other business units to streamline processes and work together to provide a better customer experience
• Complete special projects as assigned
