Job summary

Cornerstone Servicing, a division of Cornerstone Capital Bank, is seeking a skilled Cash Manager to oversee cash management, reconciliation, and cash flow activities within a mortgage servicing environment. You will manage loan funds and payoffs, monitor daily cash transactions, and process wire transfers with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, at least 3 years in mortgage banking, advanced Excel, and strong analytical and communication skills.

• Minimum 3 years in mortgage banking/servicing environment.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Familiarity with bank cash management systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle loan funds and loan payoffs with accuracy.

• Forecast, monitor and report cash flow variances.
• Process incoming/outgoing wire transfers and reconcile ledgers.
• Assist with cash-related journal entries and documentation.

Who we are looking for:

Cornerstone Servicing is seeking an experienced Cash Manager to oversee cash management, reconciliation, and cash flow activities within a mortgage servicing environment. This role will be responsible for managing loan funds and payoffs, monitoring daily cash transactions, processing incoming and outgoing wire transfers, reconciling bank statements and general ledgers, and ensuring cash application and disbursements are completed accurately and timely. The Cash Manager will also forecast and monitor cash flow, prepare cash flow reports, investigate variances and unusual transactions, and support cash-related journal entries and process documentation.

• Location: Onsite daily in Englewood, CO
• Compensation: $75-85k

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle Loan funds and Loan payoffs.
• Utilize Loan Vision Accounting and ERP software.
• Complete all cash management set up documentation for new and existing department processes
• Reconcile cash application and disbursement in a timely manner
• Monitor cash transactions to ensure bank account balances and unusual items are investigated
• Forecast, monitor and track cash flow
• Prepare cash flow reports, and identify and evaluate variances
• Receive incoming wire transfers and process outgoing wire transfers
• Reconcile bank statement and general ledgers
• Assist with posting journal entries for cash related transaction
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

What you'll need to be successful:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years in mortgage banking/servicing environment
• Must have advanced excel skill; strong Microsoft office suite
• Programming experience highly preferred
• Familiarity with bank cash management systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; team player
• Knowledge of accounting practices and standards
• Strong managerial, planning, organizational, decision making, interpersonal, analytical and lateral thinking skills
• MUST be trustworthy with high integrity
