Coface is seeking a Staff Accountant to maintain cashbooks, reconcile daily cash activity, and support financial reporting in a global context. You will collaborate with AP/AR teams, ensure accurate cash management, and assist with audits and periodic closings.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and up to 3 years of GL experience, with strong US GAAP knowledge and Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0–3 years of GL or corporate accounting experience; insurance or financial services is a plus.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and standard accounting practices.
• Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations).
• Experience with ERP/GL systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, or similar).

Responsabilités

• Maintain accurate cashbook records and perform daily/monthly reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank statements and cashbook balances; investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor incoming/outgoing payments and ensure proper cash application.
• Assist with month-end/year-end closing and internal controls over cash.
• Support audits with reconciliation reports and documentation.
