Job summary

Blue Shield of CA is seeking a Cash Receiving Supervisor to lead a team responsible for accurate, timely processing of payments and cash receipts. You will oversee cash handling, reconciliation, deposits, and related controls to support liquidity and financial reporting.

You will drive workforce planning, productivity, and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce risk, partnering with Finance, AP, Treasury, and Operations to deliver measurable results.

Qualifications

• This role requires a bachelor’s degree or HS diploma with 4 years of additional relevant experience.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field highly preferred.
• Requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and 2+ years in a lead role or leadership training.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for accurate, timely processing of incoming payments and cash receipts.
• Oversee cash handling, reconciliation, deposit operations, and related controls.
• Drive workforce planning, productivity management, process improvement, and automation initiatives.
• Partner with Finance, Accounts Payable, Customer Service, Treasury, and Operations to resolve issues and deliver measurable results.
