Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Finance/Receptionist associate within MUSC Community Physicians to process POS collections, deposits, and related data entry tasks.

Responsibilities include handling cash, preparing bank deposits, auditing front-end users, and supporting the POS t Service Supervisor. This role requires strong math, Excel and customer-service skills, plus reliable operation of standard office equipment. On-site in Alabama with standard 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 2 years of related experience, or an Associate degree with 1 year of related experience.
• Cash handling/teller experience preferred.
• Excellent math skills and computer proficiency; Excel and data entry skills preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with professional demeanor.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment (computers, printers, fax, phones, copier).

Additional Job Description

Minimum Requirements:

• A high school diploma and two years of experience in a related field (teller, cashier, customer service representative, computer usage, or data entry); or
• Associate degree and one year of related experience.
• Cash handling/teller experience preferred.
• Excellent math skills and experience with computers required. Microsoft Excel and data entry skills preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to operate equipment including, but not limited to, computers, printers, fax machines, multi-line phone system, and copier.
