Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks an Accounts Payable Clerk to support the Revenue Cycle. You will prepare and process payments, verify invoices and POs, and maintain the AP ledger. You may handle employee expense reimbursements and respond to vendor inquiries in a busy hospital setting.

Required is a high school diploma or GED with 1 year of customer service; hospital information systems or word processing experience is preferred. This is an on-site role with full-time hours.

Job Description

Prepares and processes payments for vendor invoices and other financial obligations in accordance with internal accounting policies. Reviews purchase orders, statements, and invoices to verify amounts owed. Maintains and reconciles accounts payable ledger. Responds to vendor inquiries and resolves any discrepancies in billings and payments. Minimum Education and Experience
