Job summary

GardaWorld in Baltimore, MD is hiring a deposit processor/teller to verify deposits, inspect bags for tampering, and reconcile cash balances in a fast-paced environment. The role requires careful attention to detail and adherence to policies and regulations.

Requirements include a high school diploma and cash-handling experience; 1–2 years teller experience preferred. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Cash handling and balancing experience highly desired.
• 1-2 years teller experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify assigned work and inspect deposit bags for evidence of tampering.
• Perform deposit processing functions including reconciling out-of-balance conditions.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies including state and federal regulations.
• Identify counterfeit, SARs, and AML red flags and report to supervisor.
• Meet or exceed deposit processing productivity standards.
• Verify cash settlements are accurate and transfer funds to appropriate vaults.
• Identify and share process improvement opportunities.
• Work independently without direct supervision or oversight.

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Shift: 10:00AM - 3:30PM or 11:00AM-4:30PM

Payrate: $17.00 / hourly

Your Job:

• Verify assigned work and inspect deposit bags for evidence of tampering.
• Performs deposit processing functions including reconciling any out-of-balance conditions.
• Maintains compliance with all company policies including state and federal regulations.
• Identifies Counterfeit, Suspicious Activity (SAR), and any potential AML Red Flag Transactions and immediately reports same to Supervisor.
• Meets or exceeds all established deposit processing productivity standards.
• Verifies cash settlements are accurate and transfers funds to appropriate vaults.
• Identifies and shares process improvement opportunities.
• Works independently without direct supervision or oversight.

Who you are:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Cash handling and balancing experience highly desired.
• 1-2 years teller experience preferred.
• Must have strong data entry skills and experience.
• Must be Detail-oriented with basic Math skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed.
