Job summary

GardaWorld in Mableton, GA is seeking a Cash Processing Teller for a full-time role. Pay rate is $16.25/hour with a Monday–Friday schedule (1st shift: 8:30am–5pm). Benefits include 401K, health insurance, PTO, exclusive perks, and daily pay option.

The role involves verifying deposits, processing cash, ensuring compliance with policies, spotting counterfeit/AML issues, meeting productivity targets, and transferring funds to vaults. You will work largely independently and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Cash handling and balancing experience preferred.
• 1–2 years teller experience preferred.
• Strong data entry skills required.
• Detail-oriented with basic math skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Verify deposit bags for tampering.
• Process deposits and reconcile out-of-balance conditions.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Identify counterfeit, SARs, and AML red-flag transactions and report to supervisor.
• Meet or exceed deposit processing productivity standards.
• Verify cash settlements and transfer funds to vaults.
• Identify and share process improvement opportunities.
• Work independently without direct supervision.

Your Job:

As a Cash Processing Teller, you will perform the following tasks (not limited to)

• Verify assigned work and inspect deposit bags for evidence of tampering.
• Performs deposit processing functions including reconciling any out-of-balance conditions.
• Maintains compliance with all company policies including state and federal regulations.
• Identifies Counterfeit, Suspicious Activity (SAR), and any potential AML Red Flag Transactions and immediately reports same to Supervisor.
• Meets or exceeds all established deposit processing productivity standards.
• Verifies cash settlements are accurate and transfers funds to appropriate vaults.
• Identifies and shares process improvement opportunities.
• Works independently without direct supervision or oversight.

Who you are:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Cash handling and balancing experience highly desired.
• 1-2 years teller experience preferred.
• Must have strong data entry skills and experience.
• Must be Detail-oriented with basic Math skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
