Job summary

EMC offers a paid internship in our Financial Planning & Analysis department in the Des Moines metro area with hybrid work. You will participate in budgeting, daily AP/AR, and provide financial analysis to leadership while learning EMC systems and processes.

Successful interns may be invited to apply for regular full-time positions. We seek freshman/sophomore students with GPA 3.0+ and majors in Accounting, Finance or Business, plus strong communication, analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the financial budgeting process and daily accounts payable/receivable.

This position will be hybrid work for candidates who reside in the Des Moines Metro area.

Essential Functions:

• Paid internship working in EMC's Financial Planning &Analysis department
• Participates in the financial budgetary process - daily accounts payable and receivables processes
• Reporting and providing financial analysis to leadership
• Provides new ideas and improvements to current processes
• Learns about EMC systems and functions

Education & Experience:

• Completion of freshman or sophomore year preferred
• Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher preferred
• Accounting, Finance, Business majors preferred or other related field of studies

The hiring salary range for this position will vary based on geographic location, falling within either the $19.50-$23.00 range. A hiring range represents a subset of the full salary range. The actual salary will depend on several factors, including relevant education, skills, and experience of an applicant, geographic location, and business needs.
