Job summary

The Crosby Company of New Hampshire is a single-family office focused on long-term stewardship and management of family assets. The Cash Analyst handles daily cash activities, reconciliations, and payments to ensure accurate and timely funds movement in line with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Banking knowledge / experience desired but not required.
• Financial services middle/back-office experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel; able to create spreadsheets and use formulas.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with all organization levels.
• High attention to detail and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Execute cash movement transactions (wires, ACH, EFT) accurately and on time.
• Process payments and payment cycles in the accounting system.
• Generate checks and prepare payments for mailing/distribution.
• Deposit checks timely and reconcile deposits.
• Transfer security positions between internal/external accounts.
• Perform tax basis adjustments and ownership/valuation updates.
• Maintain strong cash disbursement procedures and controls.
• Conduct daily/weekly/monthly cash and bank reconciliations.
• Investigate reconciliation differences and prepare GL entries as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regs (BSA/AML, OFAC).
• Assist with invoice processing by validating payment setup data.
• Develop expertise in cash processing workflows and systems.
• Open/maintain bank accounts; perform quarterly characteristic reviews.
• Provide documentation to support audits and internal controls.
