Job summary

Deutsche Bank in New York seeks a Divisional Risk and Control Specialist for the Cash Management division. You will join the Divisional Control Office, supporting the 1st line of defense with risk and control design, testing, and escalation.

The role collaborates with ORM, Audit, Compliance and Legal, and offers hybrid work, competitive compensation, and a pathway to strengthen non-financial risk management across the cash management business.

Qualifications

• Experience in control functions including Compliance, ORM and Audit.
• Knowledge of US and global financial regulation, especially for Anti-Financial Crime in payments.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Team player with flexibility across time zones and cultures.
• Ability to interact with and influence key risk stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee various business control processes - ensuring controls are adequately designed, evidenced and escalation protocols are consistently followed
• Advise, follow-up on, support resolution of audit findings and SIIs, lessons learned, etc. throughout the NFR lifecycle
• Support the business in preparation/execution of internal/external audits and regulatory enquiries
• Drive and support risk identification and assessment relative to risk appetite via risk assessments and scenario analysis
• Prepare information for governance meetings to brief senior management and support decision making
• Think strategically about the business and stay on top of market themes/trends
