Job summary

Whitecap Search is seeking a motivated professional to join the Cash Management team of a leading alternative investment firm in Midtown Manhattan. The role focuses on treasury operations, liquidity management, and process improvements to support fund activities.

The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure, with 2–4 years of finance experience and strong Excel skills. Leadership and analytical abilities are valued in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related fields; 2–4 years of experience
• Strong PC skills, especially Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of reconciliations and cash management operations
• Ability to manage and organize various project levels
• Strong leadership and analytical skills
• Problem-solving ability in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with complex fund structures
• Familiarity with FIS/SunGard VPM accounting and Indus Valley Partners’ products is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct treasury operational tasks including processing wires for investment fundings and transfers
• Assist in liquidity management to ensure funds cover upcoming needs
• Manage the opening, closing, and maintenance of Fund bank accounts
• Oversee daily cash reconciliations and manage overseas reconciliation team
• Liaise with fund administrators, trustees, and auditors
• Focus on process improvement and automation of activities
• Assist with testing new processes and technologies
• Lead special projects and ad hoc analysis
