Job summary

Rosie’s Gaming Emporium – Vinton is seeking a Count Team Attendant to collect and count cash boxes from gaming floor and count room, following Internal Control Policies and state regulations. Compensation is $16 per hour with potential for growth.

The role involves operating count machines, maintaining paperwork, ensuring compliance, and assisting teammates. High school diploma required and Virginia Racing Commission license must be obtained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Must obtain and maintain valid Virginia Racing Commission License.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to perform basic math and use a 10-key calculator.

Responsibilities

• Collects gaming device drop boxes from HRM machines, kiosks etc. while adhering to company Internal Control Policies and Procedures and local/state regulations.
• Records accurate count of each box in count system/sheet.
• Prepares and maintains proper paperwork to support and reconcile all money and tickets counted.
• Utilizes count machines in accordance with guidelines.
• Complies with all department and company policies, procedures, internal controls, and government regulations as well as maintains confidentiality where necessary.
• Responsible for minor repairs and maintenance of Count room equipment.
• Maintains general upkeep of Count room.
• Notifies Supervisor of malfunctioning equipment.
• Assists other Team Members in moving and safeguarding the box cart.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
