Job summary

Krause Auto Group is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Application Specialist to join our accounting team. You will process payments, maintain AR records, and support timely month-end close across multiple brands within a fast-paced automotive group.

Requirements include automotive accounting experience, proficiency in CDK and Excel, and strong attention to detail. We offer a family-owned culture, growth opportunities, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive accounting experience.
• Knowledge of CDK required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
• BA in Accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receipt and process cash, checks, credit card payments, and bank transactions accurately.
• Complete journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Maintain AR aging schedules and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Prepare and send monthly statements to customers, fleet and wholesale accounts.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies and customer balance issues.
• Apply account adjustments, write-offs, and refunds per dealership policies.
• Reconcile account balances and ensure accuracy of AR records.
• Assist with month-end closing and accounting support functions as needed.
• Work with accounting, sales, service, and management teams.
