Brown University Health seeks a cash posting analyst to support recording, processing, and posting of cash and researching unapplied funds within the accounts receivable system. Under supervision, you will work to resolve credit issues and ensure accurate cash application across Brown University Health and affiliates.

The role requires a background in Revenue Cycle with strong analytical and communication skills and a focus on accuracy in a healthcare environment.

Formación

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Three years of full revenue cycle experience.
• Proficient knowledge of PC, Internet and software applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develops research methodologies for credit resolution and payment issues.
• Identifies and resolves cash application errors and 835 file issues.
• Monitors unapplied cash accounts and reconciles activity.
• Trains users in primary research protocols of the Practice Management System.
• Assists in audits and provides documentation of activity.
