Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is hiring a Cash Application Analyst for a contract, onsite role in Winston-Salem, NC. You will apply customer payments and support AR operations to improve accuracy and efficiency.

You will work cross-functionally with AR and business stakeholders, analyze data, and identify automation opportunities using ERP and Excel to drive process improvements and reduce manual effort.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, order-to-cash, or a related finance operations environment.
• Strong understanding of cash application processes and accounts receivable transactions.
• Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to analyze large data sets and identify trends or process opportunities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the accurate and timely application of customer payments, including lockbox, ACH, and other payment methods.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and automate cash application processes.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable and business stakeholders to implement automated solutions and sustainable processes.
• Perform root-cause analysis and address recurring payment application issues.
• Research unapplied cash, unidentified payments, short payments, deductions, and account discrepancies.
• Lead or support automation initiatives impacting Accounts Receivable and cash application.
