6 Degrees Group is seeking a Staff Accountant for a contract role in Atlanta, GA. You will manage cash accounting, reconcile about 30 subsidiary accounts, and assist with month-end close. The position is hybrid—training two weeks in the office, then two to three days onsite weekly—with immediate start preferred.

Ideal candidates have 3–10 years in accounting, strong Excel, and experience with GL/ accruals; Traverse ERP or Power BI automation is a bonus.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of accounting experience with cash accounting and GL/accrual background.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to manage a high volume of accounts.
• Multi-entity experience is a plus; immediate start preferred.

Responsabilités

• Reconcile about 30 subsidiary operating accounts daily and weekly, mainly in Excel.
• Record journal entries for wires and online payments.
• Initiate bank transfers for the Treasurer and collaborate with AR/AP on intercompany entries.
• Support month-end close and cross-cover with another contractor.
