The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking an Outreach Caseworker to join our growing Planning and Implementing Housing Options for Long-term Success (PILOTS) team in Torrington, CT. Through this program, the Outreach Caseworker will use a counseling approach that uses both motivational interviewing and harm-reduction.
As a PILOTS Support Specialist, you will assist program participants to live independently in the community by addressing their mental and physical health, substance use, employment and housing needs. The Outreach Caseworker should actively support the philosophy of the agency and maintain a high level of commitment to program participants and staff.
1st shift, 8:30am-4:30pm. Days on: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Days off: Saturday and Sunday.
