A leading county agency is seeking a supervisor for the Truancy and Adolescent Assessment Unit. The role involves overseeing staff, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines, and providing family engagement services. This position is responsible for supervising the Truancy and Adolescent Assessment Unit. The role involves monitoring and implementing family engagement services in accordance with state law, best clinical practices, and agency policies to ensure quality child welfare services are provided to County residents, within budget, regulatory, and legal guidelines.
Two years of professional social work experience and a bachelor’s degree in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education including 12 college credits in these areas. Must pass Child Abuse, Criminal History, and FBI Clearances. Pennsylvania residency required.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds. Must have a reliable automobile with a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and insurance. Flexibility to work before or after hours, including evenings and weekends, is required. The work environment is typically moderate noise level, with accommodations available for disabilities.
