Clarion County is seeking a Caseworker I to perform intake assessments for individuals entering county human service programs, provide daytime and after-hours coverage for protective services, and coordinate crisis interventions to ensure immediate safety of children.

The role requires a relevant degree or equivalent experience, a PA driver’s license, and ability to obtain required clearances. Competitive benefits and a sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
• Criminal, Childline, and FBI clearances required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct intake or assessment interviews to determine immediate needs of children and families.
• Provide crisis or supportive counseling to stabilize families.
• Offer walk-in, phone, and mobile crisis intervention services.
• Investigate allegations of abuse and assess risk to ensure safety.
• Develop and implement service plans to prevent further abuse.
