Job summary

BD is a global medical technology company. This role focuses on handling raw materials, packaging finished products, and maintaining accurate documentation in a clean room environment at the USA Columbus East site.

You will use the MES system to validate and issue production orders, keep Kanban material flow smooth, and support standard operating procedures while upholding BD safety and quality standards. Regular attendance and clear communication with team members are essential to support

Qualifications

• 2 years manufacturing experience required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED.
• Use of measurement devices and quality records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect packaged product and maintain inventory integrity.
• Operate in a clean room environment and perform handoffs per SOPs.
• Maintain MES to validate, issue, and record production orders.
• Read, understand and follow SOPs and contribute to process improvements.

Essential Functions

• Provide raw material for SCF and Production.

• Review and package finished product from SCF.

• Complete necessary paperwork for both raw material and finished product.

• Maintain inventory management system.

• Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures.

• Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function.

• Ability toread and writeand converse inEnglish. Willing and able to uphold BD Values.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Visually inspect packaged product.

• Manual packaging, 100% inspection to packaging requirements and machine operation.

• Responsible for working inside a clean room environment.

• Maintain equipment according to preventative maintenance schedule.

• Record accurate inspection data as required for the completion of controlled documents/paperwork in an effective manner.

• Read, understand and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the process.

• Utilize Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to validate, issue, and confirm production orders.

• Tend to the overall cleanliness and organization of the equipment and work area.

• Trains associates and answers procedural questions to internal and/or external stakeholders, as needed.

• Maintain raw material KANBAN flow for SCF rooms.

• Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.

• High quality products produced per manufacturing documents.

• Accurate documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Experience:

• 2years manufacturing experience required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED
