Job summary

BD is a leading medical technology company seeking a warehouse associate for a 12-hour rotating shift (D Shift). The role involves handling product identification, material movement, and documentation across production areas.

Preferred candidates hold a high school diploma with 2+ years of manufacturing exposure, forklift certification, and experience with SAP and MES systems. Safety training and accuracy are essential in this on-site role at our Columbus, NE facility.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus a minimum of two years of manufacturing experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate product identification, traceability, and material status.
  • Transfer products in and out of warehouse rack systems.
  • Move raw materials, WIP, finished goods, rejected materials, and validation/experimental materials throughout production areas.
  • Transport hazardous materials safely.
  • Remove and recycle waste as needed.
  • Report damaged materials immediately.
  • Maintain accurate and legible documentation.
  • Perform SAP and MES transactions.
  • Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, slip-sheet equipment, and material tuggers.
  • Obtain and maintain forklift certification.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.

D Shift (Rotating Schedule), 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate product identification, traceability, and material status.
  • Transfer products in and out of warehouse rack systems.
  • Move raw materials, WIP, finished goods, rejected materials, and validation/experimental materials throughout production areas.
  • Transport hazardous materials safely.

Education Requirements

Preferred Experience
  • Warehouse operations experience.
  • SAP and MES experience.
  • Forklift operation experience.
  • Experience driving a straight truck.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative.
  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of DOT regulations.
