Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read and understand production tickets, work orders, and labels.
• Able to identify and stage materials to meet production specs.
• Recognize quality problems in wood components and materials.
• Experience with Casegoods materials and hardware preferred.
• Self-motivated, independent and able to work with others.
• Good verbal and written communication; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Move materials to and from storage or production areas.
• Attach identifying tags to materials and containers.
• Read work orders and tickets to determine material needs.
• Stack and organize materials in racks, bins, or staging areas.
• Record quantities on production sheets and tickets.
• Deliver materials to appropriate production areas per schedule.
• Inspect materials for damage or defects and notify supervisor.
• Perform inventory cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
• Maintain organized work station and storage areas.
• Wear PPE and work safely; report unsafe conditions.
