The Jewish Child Care Association (JCCA) in New York, NY seeks an Under-the-Line Case Planner to manage inactive/non-census foster care cases, including AWOL youth, ensuring safety, permanency, and well-being through case management and court engagement.

This role requires flexibility, strong documentation, crisis response, and availability for evenings and weekends; collaborate with ACS and diverse teams; bilingual Spanish preferred. Hourly rate: $27.4725–$29.7115.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule with evenings and weekends.
• Document diligently and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Able to engage with families and youth in treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison with all stakeholders.
• Represent team in Family Court Hearings and relay feedback for follow-up.
• Organize and participate in Family Team Conferences and Initial Treatment Conferences.
• Prioritize moving cases to stable permanency.
• Identify cases requiring Planning & Service and Red Flag meetings.
• Assess service needs of family and child.
• Conduct mandated home visits to family and child.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Collaborate with team to develop individualized case management plans.
• Maintain case records and write psychosocial assessments as needed.
