Job summary

DrinkPAK is seeking a Case Packing Specialist to oversee maintenance and optimization of packing equipment at its US facilities. You will act as the technical expert for tray packing, troubleshoot downtime, and drive standardization across production lines.

You will lead training for maintenance and production teams, coordinate with OEMs and engineering for upgrades, and push continuous improvements in pack quality and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of working on packers, troubleshooting, creating standard operating procedures, and training others.
• Experience in high-speed manufacturing, bottling, beverage, packaging, or canning industries preferred.
• Demonstrates adaptability and effective communication across departments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert on all aspects of case packing processes and equipment with emphasis on tray packing.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting support to reduce downtime and waste.
• Define, document, and standardize packing procedures across lines.
• Collaborate with Quality to ensure pack integrity meets quality requirements.
• Analyze teardown results and maintain reports for quality tracking and audits.
• Lead and train maintenance and production teams on packer setup and maintenance.
• Work with OEMs/engineering for upgrades, commissioning, and validation of new packers.
• Lead rebuild activities to ensure proper startup after rebuild.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for packer issues.
• Drive continuous improvement on pack quality, reliability, and productivity.
• Stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies in packing.
• Travel 75% to routinely visit DrinkPAK facilities.
