Job summary

Cumberland Dairy is seeking a Filler Operator to run extended shelf-life filler, maintain equipment, and troubleshoot issues to meet daily production goals. The role requires basic math, English proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months related experience or training preferred.
• Pass all pre-employment screenings (drug, background, criminal).
• English reading, speaking and writing required.
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds (50 pounds occasionally).

Responsibilities

• Operate extended shelf-life filler and maintain/check equipment and setup.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operating issues to meet daily deadlines.
• Adhere to GMP and safety procedures while producing quality product.

Cumberland Dairy has immediate job openings for a Filler Operator team member to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving operating issues. Filler Operator will be responsible for operating extended shelf-life filler and producing the maximum amount of quality product within specified ranges, while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and communicating effectively with all departments and meeting daily deadlines.

OUR OPERATORS FOR THIS POSITION START AT AN HOURLY RATE OF:

• $21 per hour

SCHEDULE: 2-2-3 Rotating Turn Schedule

Night Shift Schedule 6pm-6:30am

or

Day Shift Schedule 6am-6:30pm

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months related experience or training is preferred
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English
• Must be able to legibly write entries for record keeping
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
• Must be ableto regularly lift up to 25 pounds, with capabilities to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
