Frederick County Local Government seeks a detail‑oriented Case Officer to support Old Dominion Court Services. You will handle intakes for pretrial defendants, perform VCIN checks, interview cases, and document activities within PTCC.
The role requires strong communication, organization, and discretion with sensitive information. You will monitor active and pending cases, schedule appointments, and assist Pretrial Officers with drug analyses and filing.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable individual to provide case management and administrative support to Old Dominion Court Services. This position will conduct intakes for pretrial defendants and probationers, monitor pending cases, and coordinate with judges, court staff, and other court personnel. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills and be comfortable handling sensitive information.
This position requires typing, sitting for long periods, standing, walking, bending/stooping. Physical lifting of up to 20 pounds is sometimes required. Travel is required for training within Virginia and to the ODCS offices, courts, jails, and other required locations.
This position is an office and jail environment with the inherent dangers associated with working within the criminal justice setting.
