Job summary

Unison Behavioral Health in Waycross, GA is seeking a qualified professional to support individuals, educate clients and promote mental health, abstinence from substances, and relapse prevention. You will conduct intake, screening, assessment, treatment planning, discharge and referrals as appropriate.

The role includes acting as a client advocate, coordinating required services in crisis situations, and completing clinical documentation per agency standards and supervisor directives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years’ social service experience for level III, or a Bachelor’s degree with 1 year social service experience for level IV.
• Knowledge of agency confidentiality policies and general office procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake, screening, assessment, treatment planning, discharge and referrals.
• Complete clinical documentation including progress notes and other required records.
• Act as client advocate to coordinate services or resolve crisis situations.

$20 BHP III-$24.05 BHP IV

Job Description:

Work with individuals and facilitates groups to educate clients and promote optimum mental health, well-being, abstinence from substance use, and relapse prevention. Assists individuals in coping with addictions, substance use, and related issues such as family, parenting, marital problems, suicide, stress management, problems with self-esteem, aging, mental health, and emotional health. Conduct intake, screening, assessment, treatment planning, discharge and referral of clients as appropriate. Act as client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations. Complete required clinical documentation according to agency standards including individual and group progress notes; and all other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:

Will work Monday-Friday 8 am – 5 pm

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent and three years’ experience in a social service-related position for a level III OrBachelor's degree in a social service-related field and one year experience in a social service-related position for level IV.
