South Texas Health System seeks an RN Case Manager to oversee patient resource utilization and clinical outcomes, including discharge planning. The role supports the denial management process and may require weekend, holiday, evening, night shifts, or on-call duties to ensure service excellence.
A Texas RN license is required. Candidates should have acute care RN experience, preferably with health care coordination exposure, and a commitment to compliant practices under the organization’s Code
POSITION SUMMARY: RN Case Manager responsible to manage resource utilization and clinical outcomes for patients as well discharge needs of the patients. RN will also be responsible to help with the denial management process. There may be occasions when it will be necessary to work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, and/or on-call/call-back status. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
