Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System in Tulsa, OK seeks a day shift, full-time Acute Care RN Case Manager to assess and coordinate patient care across the continuum.

The RN case manager will use criteria to manage benefits and determine medical necessity, and will report to the Director of Case Management to support a care-driven hospital environment.

Qualifications

• RN license with an associate degree in nursing or higher.
• Two years acute hospital-based nursing experience (preferred).
• Certification in case management (ACM or CCM) (preferred).
• Experience in acute care hospital case management (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate patient care across the continuum.
• Utilize accepted criteria and guidelines to manage benefits and determine medical necessity.
• Report to the Director of Case Management or designee.

Get to Know Your Team:

• Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
• The RN case manager is responsible for assessing and coordinating patient care across the continuum, utilizing accepted criteria and guidelines to manage benefits and determine the medical necessity of the services provided.
• This position functions to achieve optimal clinical and quality outcomes by effectively managing care and resources to reduce unnecessary utilization.
• The RN Case Manager reports to the Director of Case Management or designee.

Job Requirements:

• RN, Associates degree in nursing or higher
