Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Career Services Counselor to provide case management and employment support to participants in our programs across Smyrna and surrounding communities. You will interview clients, assess needs, coordinate referrals, and help with job readiness, transportation training, and life skills to improve employment outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred) and strong communication, organizational, and data-record keeping skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a vocationally related field or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in case management and linking with community resources.
• Master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and related services to participants within program goals.
• Interview participants concerning work history, vocational interests, and background.
• Maintain documentation and records of program participants and prepare required reports.
• Coordinate referrals and community resources to promote program services.
• Conduct orientation for new participants and support their transition across services.
