Regional Center of the East Bay is hiring for roles within the developmentally disabled services field. The organization coordinates diagnostic and community-based supports for thousands in Alameda and Contra Costa counties.

Relevant education and experience are required to assess, plan, and monitor individual service plans for consumers. New hires with no prior RCEB experience start at the beginning of the salary scale.

Formación

• BA Degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related human services field with 1 year similar experience, OR BA in an unrelated human services field plus 4 years of experience working with the developmentally disabled.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Automobile and valid driver’s license required.
• Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity with diverse populations.
• Ability to speak and read in Spanish.
• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related human services field.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate planning and develop the IPP/IFSP for assigned Consumers and oversee implementation.
• Coordinate and support Consumers plan, including identifying supports and funding needs.
• Advocate on behalf of consumers to protect rights and ensure services.
• Assist in obtaining diagnoses and evaluations and secure reports.
• Monitor health and safety of consumers.
• Maintain documentation as required by law and policy.
• Implement RCEB policies and procedures.
• Complete functional/developmental reviews in a timely manner.
• Keep supervisor informed of case load and unmet needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
