Description The Administrative Office of the Courts is the operational arm of the Judicial Branch. The court system employs nearly 3,300 personnel who support 406 elected justices, judges, and circuit court clerks. The Office of Statewide Programs, Department of Specialty Courts has an opening for a Case Manager, in Region 4, Fayette County.
The Case Manager is responsible for case management, monitoring, and referral of participants in the areas of substance abuse treatment, educational, vocational, and life skills training, community resources and treatment programs.
EDUCATION: Associate’s degree in human services, criminal justice, psychology, or similarly related field
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: NONE
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional relevant work experience will substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Successful completion of the KCOJ Adult Drug Court program may substitute for the minimum education requirement, provided the individual has remained in good standing for two years following completion of the program.
Work is typically performed in an office setting. Must be able to work inside a detention center as needed. Must have a valid driver’s license. Due to the nature of the job duties and responsibilities, this position is not authorized for virtual work.
