  • Develops and maintains collaborative partnerships with community agencies, treatment providers, and stakeholders.
  • Assists with or leads program events, including participant graduations and recognition ceremonies.
  • May assist with training, mentoring, and onboarding of new specialty court staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Description

The Administrative Office of the Courts is the operational arm of the Judicial Branch. The court systememploys nearly 3,300 personnel who support 406 elected justices, judges, and circuit court clerks. The Office of Statewide Programs, Department of Specialty Courts has an opening for a Case Manager, in Region4, Fayette County.

The Case Manager is responsible for case management, monitoring, and referral of participants in the areas ofsubstance abuse treatment, educational, vocational, and life skills training, community resources andtreatment programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintains a caseload of specialty court participants and provides comprehensive case management services.

Minimum Requirements
  • EDUCATION: Associate’s degree in human services, criminal justice, psychology, or similarly related field
  • EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: NONE
  • Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE
  • Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional relevant work experience will substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis
  • SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Successful completion of the KCOJ Adult Drug Court program may substitute for the minimum education requirement, provided the individual has remained in good standing for two years following completion of the program.
Working Conditions

Work is typically performed in an office setting. Must be able to work inside a detention center as needed. Must have a valid driver’s license. Due to the nature of the job duties and responsibilities, this position is not authorized for virtual work.
