Salt Lake County is hiring Case Managers for Criminal Justice Services. You will provide case management addressing community safety, client needs, and compliance with court directives, working in a team focused on collaboration and outcomes.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related field, with preference for bilingual English/Spanish. The role requires passing a fingerprint background check and RAP Back enrollment, and operates in a jail

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or Criminal Justice or related field.
• Background check and RAP Back enrollment required.
• Preference for bilingual English/Spanish applicants.

Responsibilities

• Refer clients for court-ordered services and maintain case files in the system.
• Identify criminogenic needs, create plans to reduce risk of offenses and failures to appear.
• Provide crisis support, assess readiness to change, and coordinate interventions.
• Collaborate with criminal justice and treatment agencies to promote client interests.
• Attend hearings as required and conduct presentence investigations when needed.
• Maintain professional, client-focused service and ensure compliance with procedures.
