• Shift: Days (varying hours, occasional weekend work, on call)

Job Description

• Provide direct behavioral case management services to adults or children with serious mental health conditions, substance use disorders, or involvement in the child welfare system.
• Demonstrate competency in engagement and assessment, service planning and delivery, coordination, linkage and monitoring, documentation, and professional responsibility.
• Coordinate service delivery and provide community partners with up‑to‑date referral resources.
• Maintain and manage assigned caseload based on individuals' needs and preferences.
• Understand the service delivery system and comply with regulations and district policy.
• Provide services at appropriate time and location; travel required.
• May conduct urine drug screenings and transport clients as required.
• May participate in a 24‑hour on‑call rotation and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Health Education, Special Education or a related human service field.
• 1 year full‑time experience working with children with behavioral health concerns (for child‑specific roles) or adults with behavioral health concerns (for adult‑specific roles).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• For targeted case managers: CBHCM certification through the Florida Certification Board within one year of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience billing Medicaid for targeted case managers.
• Experience with targeted populations as indicated.
