Job summary

Sunrise Detox is a premiere center for drug and alcohol detox. The Case Manager facilitates the admission process, answers inquiries, and helps patients adjust to the detoxification routine.

The Admissions staff document the intake in the medical record and provide clinical teams with patient information as needed. Key duties include initial assessments, prioritizing patient needs, guiding patients and families, and tours for prospective patients as requested.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of DSM V Substance Disorder diagnosis.
• Intake and assessment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients to adjust to detox program routine.
• Provide information to patients and families about treatment expectations.

Sunrise Detox: Position Title: Case Manager

Sunrise Detox is a premiere center for drug and alcohol detox. Sunrise promises to give you one of the most comfortable medical detox processes available. We believe in creating a different experience where our road to recovery is dignified. Our clients reside in comfortable modern, elegantly furnished rooms where good nutrition is also an essential part of the detoxification process. We offer individual and group counseling to clients and bring in 12 Step meetings to show clients they are not alone once they leave treatment.

Case Manager Job description

The purpose of the Case Manager is to facilitate the admission process, answer inquiries and assist patients to adjust to the detoxification program routine. The Admission Staff documents the admission process in to the medical record and provides clinical staff with information concerning the patient’s presentation and clinical needs at time of intake.

Case Manager Duties/Responsibilities

• Conducts initial assessment of patient problems and needs and reports to clinical team to initiate treatment planning.
• Prioritizes patient needs and issues related to patient orientation.
• Upon initial contact, provides information to patients and families to help them decide about treatment, prepare for admission, and what they can expect to encounter.
• Provides tours for prospective patients and their families as requested.

Case Manager Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited University Preferred.
• Must be actively pursuing or willing to pursue State Licensure for alcohol and/or drug counselor.
• Working knowledge of DSM V Substance Disorder diagnosis
• Intake and assessment experience preferred.

Case Manager Schedule

• Full Time, Days
• 1 Weekend shift per week required

Case Manager Compensation

• Hourly rate competitive with experience and location
